Instagram users have been wanting to have the private message (DM) option of their Instagram accounts active for WEB use for many years. Instagram is making its direct message infrastructure compatible with the web version with the update it will make. The feature, which is in the testing phase, will allow users to message via the browser. In other words, users will be able to message more easily without needing any additional programs when they enter Instagram via a computer.
If the testing phases are completed successfully, the feature will be available for use.
