WhatsApp, one of the most used messaging and video calling applications in the world, has implemented a new measure to increase security. The new application, offered to users in beta, has brought the ability to log in to WhatsApp with a fingerprint.
To use fingerprint, you need to use the beta version of WhatsApp on your Android phone. To do this, either https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.whatsapp You need to click on the link or download the beta version of WhatsApp to your phone. Then you need to activate the fingerprint feature.
If you are using the beta version of WhatsApp on your phone, the fingerprint feature will already be activated in the automatic update. You can find out if your WhatsApp is up to date by logging into the Play Store.
HOW TO ACTIVATE FINGERPRINT?
To activate fingerprint in WhatsApp, first enter the application and click on the Settings section at the top. Then enter the Account menu, then click on the Privacy tab. Enter the Fingerprint Lock menu at the bottom of the menu that appears and activate the 'Unlock with Fingerprint' option.
Then the application will ask you to identify your fingerprint. To do this, scan your fingerprint once and save it. Then the following menu will appear.
Once you have registered your fingerprint with the application, the fingerprint request will be activated on your subsequent logins.
You can also choose how long after the app is locked from the fingerprint menu. You can also hide information such as the sender's name and the content of the message in the notification panel by turning off the Show content in notifications section.
